Who Shall Be Saved?
May 23, 2020
[Most of us have a clear understanding of what it takes to be saved, but do you know who is included?]
(Mat 10:16-22 KJV) Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. 10:17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 10:18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
[Many think their attachment to the Restoration movement is their salvation because of scripture like verse 22, but taken in context they have paid a physical price by their endurance and loyalty. Many are misled by the teachings that say salvation is free and the law is done away with, but is it? Scripture tells us that the lawless shall be dammed, not saved!]
(Mat 24:11-14 KJV) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 24:14 And this good news of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
[When people come into worship with others, be it a small group or assembly, and see unrighteous behavior among those claiming salvation as theirs some become discouraged and slide back into the world. If we who have been in the walk and set under the teachings for years do not walk lawfully, how can they think they can do better. When those who claim Yahweh and Yahshua as the masters of their lives walk in worldly speech or manner what is different except the words spoken on Sabbath?]
(Mar 13:9-13 KJV) But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them. 13:10 And the good news must first be published among all nations. 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Set-apart Spirit. 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
[Once again the same message is given! This walk is not a walk that gives those claiming a relationship with Yahweh and Yahshua a license to sin, not even by one sin. Sin is rebellion. Many things we do, mixing believing and unbelieving among those we invite into our family life, bring a blurring of the lines between the right and wrong of things. We teach our children from the scriptures then invite those who do not live that way into our lives giving a twisted example/lesson. Yes we need to reach out to the world, and this includes our extended kin, but our homes are to be havens from lawlessness and those living lawlessly.]
(Mar 16:15-16 KJV) And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the good news to every creature. 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
[Belief is equal to trust in many ways. We believe if we pay the light bill our lights will come on when we push the switch. It is the same with Yahweh! If we are walking an obedient life we have the promise of heard prayers in this life as well as a life lived in the presence of the Almighty and our Savior. The act of baptism is a door only for the truly repentant of heart. As with all the promises this one is given to those who walk in obedience to Yahweh's law, Torah!]
(Joh 10:7-12 KJV) Then said Yahshua unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 10:8 All that ever came before Me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 10:9 I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
[Yahshua plainly states He is the door to salvation and no other. All others are there for the fame, money, power, etc. In Germany those claiming Sunday as a day of rest during WWII were excused if their names were on the church books and showed they were financially supporting the church. All others were denied. That is a worldly view. Many who are unable to give financially do more to bring others into the fold through their example of lawful living than those with the money. Obedience is the key to right living, and the key to salvation. Outward lawful living is a good example, but Yahweh judges our hearts as well. It is an all or nothing at all choice.]
(Act 2:21 KJV) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Master shall be saved.
“whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord; shall believe in the Lord Yahshua Christ with the heart, and shall confess him with the mouth, and shall worship him in Spirit and in truth, and submit to all his ordinances and commands; for invocation of the Lord includes the whole of worship, internal and external:
[I cannot say it any plainer.]
(Act 11:13-17 KJV) And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter; 11:14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved. 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Set-apart Spirit fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Master, how that He said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Set-apart Spirit. 11:17 For as much then as Almighty gave them the like gift as He did unto us, who believed on the Master Yahshua the Messiah; what was I, that I could withstand Almighty?
[No matter our beginnings we are all Yahweh's children and therefore called to live a life displaying His values, not the worlds.]
(Act 15:11 KJV) But we believe that through the grace [gift] of the Master Yahshua Messiah we shall be saved, even as they.
(Rom 5:8-11 KJV) But Almighty commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us. 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to Almighty by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in Almighty through our Master Yahshua Messiah, by whom we have now received the atonement.
[At-one-ment, what a gift! The gift was given before we asked for it, and by obedience we receive it. Not by our works, but the works of our Elder Brother are we saved. Our works show our hearts, but they do not earn us salvation! It is the blood of atonement that paid for our salvation!]
(Eze 9:1-6 KJV) He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand. 9:2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar. 9:3 And the magnificence of the Almighty of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side; 9:4 And Yahweh said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. 9:5 And to the others He said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
(Eze 6:8-10 KJV) Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries. 6:9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from Me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations. 6:10 And they shall know that I am Yahweh, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
(Rom 9:27 KJV) Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
[In Eze. 9 Yahweh orders the destruction of His people because they had gone so far from His truth. Note that He begins with those involved in directing the people in worship and right living. A remnant is what is left at the end. M’ ost of what is called ‘common law’ is derived from the first five books of the scriptures. So they are fulfilling the job given to those sent among the nations. Only Yahweh knows how many have been born and only He know who and how many will be among the remnant.]
(1Pe 4:16-19 KJV) Yet if any man suffer as a Believer, let him not be ashamed; but let him magnify Almighty on this behalf. 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of Yahweh: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the good news of Almighty? 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the unrighteous and the sinner appear? 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of Almighty commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
[This is true trust! We yield to Yahweh's will though the enabling of His and Yahshua's spirits in our lives and heart, and they will lead us home at last! No promises of an easy life, just the promise of an abundant live. That is not a promise of abundance of things and cash, but of spiritual abundance. It is an abundance that chance, men, circumstances, etc. cannot take from you. Only you can throw it away by willful living.
Who can be saved? Those willing to allow Yahweh to rule their lives. How can a mortal do that? By the power of a life yielded in love to Him, and the acceptance of Yahshua's blood to cover repented sins. Who shall be saved? Those who endure to the end!]
