December 26, 2020
[I am currently working on the last 4 chapters of Revelation but was drawn to this passage.]
(Exo 33:16 KJV) For wherein shall it be known here that I and Thy people have found grace in Thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and Thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
[I have been looking at the homecoming, but lest we forget where we come from and what the job is all about let us look at our roots. No matter if you came to this point from a church or without having had any church affiliation we are on the same path. Some of us have ‘stuff’ we have discarded for it is not pleasing to Yahweh, and others of us come as empty vessel ready to be filled, and some come partially filled. None come ready for the kingdom. We all have to learn Yahweh’s way which is so different from the worlds way.
The difference between Yahweh and all other things that are worshipped is that He is a Spirit, and His Spirit can and is with us everywhere we go for we are His and He watches over us. Yes even when we do not want Him to know what we are up to He is there. He is there not to ‘catch’ us but to provide us a door of escape from our own foolishness.]
(Jer 31:3 KJV) Yahweh hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee.
[Yahweh knows the heart of all creatures for they are His creation, and He has love for them all. Those who refuse Him have no place for complaint for it was their choice to walk the road alone, before and after they heard His invitation.]
(Hos 7:1 & 8-16 KJV) When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.7.8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned. 7:9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not. 7:10 And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to Yahweh their Almighty, nor seek Him for all this. 7:11 Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria. 7:12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard. 7:13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me. 7:14 And they have not cried unto Me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against Me. 7:15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against Me. 7:16 They return, but not to the Most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
[Yahweh plainly states that Ephraim has slid into the ways of the enemy and he does not know it. Let us check our hearts, habits, etc. to make sure that has not began in our lives. Many experts claim Eastern Europe, their North, The British Isles, and Northern America are the offspring of Ephraim. We certainly have many of their habits and some of their laws which were given by Yahweh. Does it matter? Not really for we are responsible for our generation and how it deals with the mess we inherited and then made worse. Will repenting for the sins of our ancestors help? If you follow the repentance with the determination to not follow in their footsteps, Yes it will help.]
(Act 19:8-10 KJV) And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of Almighty. 19:9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus. 19:10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Master Yahshua, both Jews and Greeks.
Disputing G1256 Middle voice from G1223 and G3004; to say thoroughly, that is, discuss (in argument or exhortation): - dispute, preach (unto), reason (with), speak.
[I have wondered about the middle voice, which is a term for ventriloquism, but it may mean just what it says. Not the lowest pitch or the highest, but clearly projected to be easily heard and understood.
Paul was not wanting to take part in an angry dispute, but to teach and answer questions. Again disciples are those who came to learn. Today there are many angry disputes going on, but if we follow this example we will not be taking part. We will separate ourselves and seek a place where learning can take place.]
(Luk 6:22-23 KJV) Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. 6:23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
[Not all separations are voluntary. We see forced separations today with the flu and government rulings. Still there those of us who have lost jobs or been unable to obtain jobs for keeping the weekly Sabbath, or some other day set by Yahweh for us to congregate. Verse 23 tells us to rejoice in that day for it is a day you have reaped a reward to be received in heaven. Definitely not here on earth. This is something we all need to remember: Our reward for loyalty to Yahweh and Yahshua and their walk is waiting in heaven for us. We are promised if we will separate ourselves from the ways of this world, and from those who follow after the world, we will reap a reward in heaven. Not that we do not reap in this life, but that what is laid up in heaven can not be destroyed nor stolen. Can we lose that? Yes we can by departing the path of Yahshua, but we can return to that path and start a new treasure chest.]
(Mat 10:19-24 KJV) But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord/master.
[When testifying in a court Yahweh will speak though us if we have given Him that permission. If we have not we will not be likely to be accused as His follower.]
(Mat 6:31-34 KJV) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of Almighty, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
[I know I spend more time on my daily physical needs than I do on my spiritual needs. Not that I do not talk to Yahweh during the day, but certainly not on my knees without distraction, for I talk to Him about everything and everyone all day long just as I would another interested party who lived with me but without the worry of confidentiality. The kingdom of heaven is indeed like a hidden treasure which is hid in the open, for it is available to all who can see it, but hidden from those who wish to control their own actions without reference to the claims of an Almighty who knows them better than they know themselves. For those who choose to allow Yahweh and Yahshua into their lives there is indeed a guaranteed reward in heaven, but for me it is the day to day spiritual support they give that brings me along the way to a good report in the end.]
(Mat 13:45-46 KJV) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
[Even if this walk should take from us every thing or person we value the pearl at the end will better than the total of all we lost in this life.]
(Mat 13:47-51 KJV) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 13:48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. 13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 13:51 Yahshua saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Master.
[Do we as they understand that the final separation will take place at the end of the world? Until then it is ourselves who must do the separating.]
(Mat 19:13-15 KJV) Then were there brought unto Him little children, that He should put His hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. 19:14 But Yahshua said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto Me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. 19:15 And He laid His hands on them, and departed thence.
[Little children sense His goodness and love and come to Him willingly loving Him. They accept His love without question and return it.]
(Mat 19:16-22 KJV) And, behold, one came and said unto Him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 19:17 And He said unto him, Why callest thou Me good? there is none good but one, that is, Almighty: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Yahshua said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 19:21 Yahshua said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow Me. 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
[Yahshua spoke only to the commands dealing with interpersonal relationships starting with #6. Then He put the 5th in the middle. The first 5 deal with our relationship with Yahweh and our parents as His stand-in. What the young man lacked was compassion on those he could have helped with his riches.]
(Luk 6:43-5 KJV) For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
[As always it is a heart matter. If our hearts are bent on serving Yahweh, as He directs, our daily lives will be a testimony to all who know us that Yahweh and Yahshua are alive and well.]
(Rom 8:35-39 KJV) Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?8:36 As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Almighty, which is in Messiah Yahshua our Master.
[I really am of the mind set that no power on earth or else where can take me from the hands of Yahweh where I have sought shelder through the door of Yahshua and His blood which He willingly shed for me. But I also know that the desire for the things of this world, including human affection, can cause me to leave that protected place. Choose this day who you will follow!]
