They Shall Know I Am Yahweh

June 19, 2021

[We just finished a study titled ‘My Great Name’ now we are to look at Yahweh’s desire for us to know who He is. I could not find the words of this title in any of the 13 versions I have on computer. That is because the am is added. Thus it should read they shall know I Yahweh. If He wants me to know Him, He also wants me to be able to tell others about Him in a way He will not be confused with those who men claim to have power but are fictions. Yahweh only calls Himself Yahweh why would I refuse to do the same?]

(Psa 58:1-11 AFV) To the Chief Musician. "Do not destroy." A secret treasure of David. Do you indeed speak righteousness, O mighty lords? Do you judge uprightly, O sons of men? 58:2 Yea! In your heart you work wickedness; you weigh out the violence from your hands in the earth. 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb; they who speak lies go astray from birth. 58:4 Their venom is like the venom of a serpent; he stops his ear like the deaf adder, 58:5 Which will not listen to the charmer's voice, though a skillful caster of spells. 58:6 O Almighty, break their teeth in their mouth; shatter the fangs of the young lions, O Yahweh. 58:7 Let them melt away like waters which run off continually. When he aims his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off. 58.8 Let them be as a slug which is melting away; as a miscarriage of a woman, so they may never see the sun. 58:9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, He shall take them away as with a whirlwind— whether green or dry. 58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he shall bathe his footsteps in the blood of the wicked, 58:11So that a man shall say, "Truly, there is a reward for the righteous; truly, there is a Almighty who is judging in the earth."

[Is this not what Yahweh wants us to know? That He is HERE NOW JUDGING, that He is an active part in our daily lives. He chooses to direct the path of those willing to be led, therefore Yahweh is an active force in the lives of those who have accepted His offer of salvation.]

(Psa 50:7-15 AFV) "Hear, My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you; I am Almighty, even your Almighty. 50:8 I will not reprove you for your sacrifices, or your burnt offerings which are continually before Me. 50:9 I will take no bull out of your house, nor he-goats out of your folds, 50:10 For every beast of the forest is Mine and the livestock upon a thousand hills. 50:11 I know all the birds of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. 50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is Mine, and all the fullness of it. 50:13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? 50:14 Offer to Almighty thanksgiving; and pay your vows to the Most High; 50:15 And call upon Me in the day of trouble; and I will deliver you, and you shall honor Me."

[Hear My people – do we hear Him. Is it His voice or the voice of men we are listening to? Yahweh tells us He is our Almighty and as such if we call on Him He will deliver us and we will honor Him. What honor do we show Him when we give Him nicknames and titles tied to false worship? ‚ÄčIn the KJV LORD is found in 6749 verses and appears 7970 times.

GOD is found in 3893 verses and appears 4473 times. That is a total of 12,443 times. How stubborn are we when we continue to insist Yahweh wants His name to be hidden when He has had it displayed so freely across the pages of scripture.]

(Psa 50:16-23 YLT) And to the wicked hath Almighty said: What to thee—to recount My statutes? That thou liftest up My covenant on thy mouth? 50:17 Yea, thou hast hated instruction, And dost cast My words behind thee. 50:18 If thou hast seen a thief, Then thou art pleased with him, And with adulterers is thy portion. 50:19 Thy mouth thou hast sent forth with evil, And thy tongue joineth deceit together, 50:20 Thou sittest, against thy brother thou speakest, Against a son of thy mother givest slander. 50:21 These thou didst, and I kept silent, Thou hast thought that I am like thee, I reprove thee, and set in array before thine eyes. 50:22 Understand this, I pray you, Ye who are forgetting Almighty, Lest I tear, and there is no deliverer. 50:23 He who is sacrificing praise honoureth Me, As to him who maketh a way, I cause him to look on the salvation of Almighty!

[What good is repeating Torah is you are not living it? It makes you no better than a thief – how can that be? By taking Torah and elevating it visibly and breaking it openly you hold it up to ridicule before both the religious and irreligious, thus robbing it of its power to heal.]

(Heb 8:1 KJV) Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Most High pitched, and not man. 8:3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. 8:4 For if He were on earth, He should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of Almighty when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith He, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. 8:6 But now hath He obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Most High, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Most High. 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Most High; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a Almighty, and they shall be to Me a people: 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Most High: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 8:13 In that He saith, A new covenant, He hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

[We no longer have a temple, that is a fact, as is the lack of a priesthood. I understand man is working to bring about a temple and a priesthood. At this moment they do not exist so we have need of Yahshua acting in our behalf in the heavenly tabernacle. The first covenant was written on tables of stone, the second on the fleshy hearts of mankind. How much easier to obey the dictates of our heart than to obey the dictates of duty. All who have entered into the covenant of the heart can know Yahweh and Yahshua for they live in the loving heart. How much greater a connection than just a legal relationship. It is true we often have pet names for those we love, but to refuse the name of the one you have vowed to wed is an insult of major proportions. It clearly states a divided heart and a divided heart is full of woe for it cannot settle.]

(Jer 32:40-42 KJV) And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me. 32:41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with My whole heart and with My whole soul. 32:42 For thus saith Yahweh; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

(Rom 8:28-31 KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Almighty, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 8:29 For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 8:30 Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also honored. 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If Almighty be for us, who can be against us?

[If we allow Yahweh to enter our hearts we will fear or give Him our loving awe. When we have this connection we will not turn away from Yahweh as expressed in His law for it was given that we might know how to live together without causing each other harm. As we learn and apply those laws to our own lives we will be developing the nature of Messiah. Remembering that Yahweh is the source of all power and good things we will not fear the world.]

(Rom 8:32 39KJV) He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Almighty's elect? It is Almighty that justifieth. 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Messiah that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of Almighty, who also maketh intercession for us. 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Almighty, which is in Messiah Yahshua our Master.

[As we pray for ourselves and others we need to remember that Yahshua is also interceding for us. Yahweh wants us all to know not just His name and character but He has a great desire that we come to love what we know of Him. One fact is clear throughout scripture and that is Yahweh shows great patience with our backsliding and waffling back and forth. Today I willingly walk in obedience and tomorrow I will again walk in my own strength and desires. We need to remember that what ever the state of our heart at the moment of death, that is the heart that will judged.

I believe Rom. 8.38 -39. Only my own choices can take me from the safety of Yahweh’s loving heart. Part of love is loyalty and I pledge to be loyal to Scripture and Scripture tells me Yahweh’s name and His character are important to Him – therefore they are important to me. So Important that I wish to share with others what I have read, and more importantly what I have experienced of that great love in my life.

I pray today you have grown closer to both Yahweh and Yahshua and learned what true respect for their names is.]
