Mark of the Beast

May 30, 2020

[It seems that people are unaware of what must take place before 'the' mark of the beast will take place for the world. It should be a matter of highest importance, to not receive anything that would 'mark' us as a servant of sin! Today we will look at the 7 last trumpets as it seems most do not have a firm understanding of their importance and timing.]

(Rev 8:1-2 KJV) And when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. 8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before Almighty; and to them were given seven trumpets.

[In verse 1 we have the opening of the 7th seal, the opening of which causes silence in heaven for a very short time, about ½ hour. This silence is a much discussed space of time. The majority of commentators want to shift this to the earth, but scripture plainly states it is a heavenly occurrence. Gill and the Expositors Bible seem to agree, a bit, that it is a pause, very short in length within which the heavenly host seems to pause at what is to be revealed next. However long it is, the revelation must be terrible to those waiting and watching to cause them to stop praising Yahweh. The next event is the distribution of the 7 Trumpets. We will remember that the trumpet was used to summon the tribes in the wilderness. Are we ready and willing to acknowledge these trumpets are calling for our attention?]

(Rev 8:3-5 KJV) And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before Almighty out of the angel's hand. 8:5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

(Eze 9:4 KJV) And Yahweh said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

[This is not one of the seven already mentioned. This angel is acting as the high priest would on the Day of Atonement at the Altar of Incense. On that day all are intent on having forgiveness, not only for their selves but for their entire nation. It is the only commanded fast day. Note in Ezekiel those that sigh and cry over the abominations of their nation, as a whole, are the ones marked for salvation. How much time do we as individuals and as groups include not only our nation, but the entire world in our prayers, pleading that the truth might be revealed to them and they be enabled to see it? In the temple the fire is taken from the Altar of Burnt Offerings where sacrifice was made for sins. Those coals were then transferred from the brass to the gold censer before the incense was added. Yahweh inhabits our prayers of praise, but how sweet must be our prayers when offered from a heart weeping over sin and those who are lost in it, our lost sisters and brothers no matter who or where they are, for all are created as Yahweh's children. Therefore their loss should cause us sorrow of heart! The word fire is used in many ways but here I believe what is cast to the earth is a spirit of anticipation of Yahshua's soon appearance. A time when the fire of first love overcomes those who are praying. A time of great personal devotion to the things and persons belonging to Yahweh, including His set-apart times of gathering. The nearer we come to the true end the greater the pressure will be exerted to keep us apart. It has been that way in the past and will be and recently has been in our today.

The commotion within the believing brethren and the commotion in nature normally come together and it is certainly that way here. We have the natural destruction's of storm and earthquake increasing annually. I believe we are due for a great time of spiritual revival, which history shows comes about every 50 years. Let us be prepared to finance those youth who Yahweh has told me He is preparing to give full time to this endeavor. Let us not do as many churches do and send them out and then drift away from our support in prayer as well as the physical. Let us prepare to house and feed them when they come to our area, and to study with them that both they and us may have our trust in Yahweh emboldened. Let us support them even when there is no large number of hearers garnered, for we know not what one listener might carry the good news to a larger group we know nothing about. It is not our job to count the sheep, just to feed them.]

(Rev 8:6-7 KJV) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

[Even angels need preparation before they begin to act. Verse 5 states we are to be praying for this worlds sinful ways, are we? The first trumpet will effect and affect the entire world, even those places where grass and trees rarely exist because of the ash and smoke at first and the famine sure to follow because the food for human and beast depend on them, as well as we depend on the oxygen they produce. This is a sign that all who understand scripture should recognize as the beginning of the end of the world as we know it now. It is not something that man can control nor can even the richest buy their way out of. It will come upon the entire earth.]

(Rev 8:8-9 KJV) And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

[A great mountain must be a very large body on fire. When it hits water it would cause the oxygen to be boiled out of the water and a red algae would develop. Certainly boiling water would cause death to all within and on. In the Atlantic both Europe, England and her isles, and North America if it landed in the north and if in the south South America and Africa. Even without our electronics, which the first trumpet would have disrupted, word would spread at the mouth of those who escaped alive.

Time Life published a series in 1990 on this subject. Their “Comets, Asteroids and Meteorites” describes what would happen if a meteor was to land in the Gulf of Mexico on page 128. This book should still be available in some of our public library's. The destruction would go all the way to Kansas city and beyond and the ocean would take decades to return to its normal state.

Scripture does not tell us how great the loss of life would be in the first trumpet and here it says those on ships would die as well as the sea life.]

(Rev 8:10-11 KJV) And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

[Our Great Lakes are the largest supply of fresh water in the world. We have been selling it to other countries for many years so any contamination here will effect those outside the USA. Be it Israel or the USA or anyplace on earth a 1/3 of the fresh water will bring death. Not a thing that can be kept secret. Are Yahweh's people looking up and realizing their homecoming is near, even at the door?]

(Rev 8:12-13 KJV) And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

[Our days are to be shortened! To about 16 hours. If it lasts how do you adapt to that, will there be time for us to adapt? Grass recoups almost over night, but the trees take years to reproduce from the seed buried in the earth. Those that are burned never recoup. Will there be enough sun for food production, how about seeds to plant? It is my belief that these four trumpets will follow one after the other in quick succession with no time to respond before the next trumpet sounds.

If the first 4 trumpets horrify us what must the next three be seeing as they are called woes?]

(Rev 9:1-2 KJV) And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Star G792 Probably from the base of G4766; a star (as strown over the sky), literally or figuratively: - star.

G4766 Or a simpler form στρωννύω strōnnuō strone'-noo'-o, prolonged from a still simpler form στρόω stroō stro'-o (used only as an alternate in certain tenses; probably akin to G4731 through the idea of positing); to “strew”, that is, spread (as a carpet or couch): - make bed, furnish, spread, strew.

[A star, one star coming from the air rents the earths crust and smoke, so much smoke pours out that it causes darkness and the air is effected as well. Once again we are plunged into darkness. The star is not identified, nor is it given any job but to open the pit.]

(Rev 9:3 KJV) And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

[Locusts are flying creatures which most of us have seen in nature, but these are diffent! They sting, not bite, and their stings are poison and they themselves are strong. Not a bug you can step on and kill.]

(Rev 9:4-6 KJV) And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of Almighty in their foreheads. 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

[ They are not allowed to hurt any green growth so what food is growing will not be destroyed. They are also restrained from touching those who have been sealed by Yahweh. But for those who have rejected Yahweh's offer of salvation through Yahshua there is no sanctuary! The torment will be so great they will desire to die but death is kept from them. BUT this trumpet has a time restraint! It is to last only five months. Remember Eze. 9.4? Yahweh has marked His people and they cannot be touched by this trumpet! We will see it but it will not touch us. But what of those who think they are saved and this falls on them? Will they repent or will they curse?]

(Psa 91:5-11 KJV) Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 91:6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 91:9 Because thou hast made Yahweh, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 91:11 For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

[Have you accepted Yahweh's mark? Then why are you worrying about what will happen in the future? Do you not believe, act upon, His promises?]

(Rev 9:7-10 KJV) And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9:9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 9:10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

[We have been gradually prepared for this life form since my youth by science fiction and today’s cartoons and action figures. I take all of the seven trumpets to be literal not symbolic! But once again the promise of limiting is given. Five, 5, months. Certainly this will be very visual and undeniable.]

(Rev 9:11-12 KJV) And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. 9:12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

[The world is looking for a man to rise up from among us, as did Yahshua. But scripture is here saying the king is one with the beings from the pit, not human. If the next trumpet is to be worse it is certainly woeful.]

Part 2

(Rev 9:13-15 KJV) And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before Almighty, 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

[These four are not part of the seven with trumpets, but rather a single happening within the 6th trumpet. Please note that Yahweh, Himself, has set the very hour, day, month and year for this woe. It cannot be changed by man!!! This woe will take the lives of 1/3 of the people left on earth. Yahweh's people are still being protected for verse 9.4 says it is only for the wicked. Refusing Yahshua, thus Yahweh, is a sin. To refuse their teachings is also a sin.]

(Rev 9:16-19 KJV) And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. 9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

[It seems the horses are the ones delivering death, not the riders. But no matter which one or both 1/3 of those alive will meet death at this point. It seems that the line is drawn in the fifth trumpet, it makes a difference between Yahweh's own and all others. There is no mention of repentance not forgiveness in the trumpets. Seems that matter is already settled and this is a time for judgment. The first four trumpets fall on all mankind and this may be the end of Yahweh's patience with man and forgiveness upon repentance has passed. There is certainly no mention of any body repenting so we better be ready before the first one falls. If not, with that first warning shot none can ever claim they have not been warned. A few years ago there was much talk about what nation could raise such an army. Here we see Yahweh supplies an army made up not of men but horses that kill and wound. The riders seem to have no part in the killing, just directing the horses.]

(Rev 9:20-21 KJV) And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

[Here is the answer! Up to this point no one has repented, so no one has received forgiveness.]

(Rev 11:1-6 KJV) And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of Almighty, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the Set-apart city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the Almighty of the earth. 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 1:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

[Mankind did not repent under the first 4 trumpets, and it seems not even under the 5th. Yet Yahweh is always willing to accept truly repentant hearts and here it seems all who have survived have a chance to repent and receive salvation. Notice there is a temple, so this will happen after the temple is built in Jerusalem since that is the focal point.]

(Rev 11:710 KJV) And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Master was crucified. 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

[Last Call!!! It is the beast that kills them, but mankind rejoices. Are any of the redeemed among them? After all they will suffer want when the curses fall, or will hearts be firm and praise Yahweh no matter what befalls them? There is no promise of supply for Yahweh’s people at that space of time.]

(Rev 11:11-14 KJV) And after three days and a half the Spirit of life from Almighty entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave honor to the Almighty of heaven. 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

[Verse 8 states this takes place in Jerusalem, Israel. That is where the actual crucifixion took place, only Jerusalem is spelled out plainly. As for the length of time they ministered we do not have a firm starting point. Some would like to count from the destruction of Jerusalem and make it a year for a day prophecy, but then we would have a clearer picture of a date to count to Yahshua's reappearing. But we already have scripture telling us this time is known only to Yahweh. Yahshua told us if we could discern the times we would be able to tell when these times were near, and I believe we can only do that if we are aware of the sure signs given plainly to all who read or hear with hearts filled with Yahweh's spirit.]

(Rev 10:7-11 KJV) But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of Almighty should be finished, as He hath declared to His servants the prophets. 10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. 10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 10:11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

[John was given the job of writing the warnings within this book, and then given the job of speaking the things of this book. The book has been written – are we giving voice to its warnings? Or are we spreading the fear warnings of the enemy who would make us too weak to act?]

(Rev 11:15 KJV) And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Most High, and of His Messiah; and He shall reign for ever and ever.

[The 7th trumpet ushers in the beginning of the reward of those who are in right standing with Yahweh, especially Yahshua who died that we might see this day.]

(Rev 11:16-19 KJV) And the four and twenty elders, which sat before Almighty on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped Almighty, 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Most High Yahweh Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. 11:19 And the temple of Almighty was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

[All Yahweh's servants are to receive a reward. It plainly states in verse 8 that it is time for the dead, both the obedient and the disobedient to be judged. We have the answer to the question of what happened to the Ark, it is in the Father's care. Verse 19 ends in the same manner as 8.5 with great fan fare so it cannot be missed. Yet where is the mark of the beast? When does the sealing take place?]

(2Ti 2:19 KJV) Nevertheless the foundation of Almighty standeth sure, having this seal, The Master knoweth them that are His. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Messiah depart from iniquity.

(2Co 1:21-22 KJV) Now He which stablisheth us with you in Messiah, and hath anointed us, is Yahweh; 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

(Eph 1:13-14 KJV) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the good news of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Set-apart Spirit of promise, 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His honor.

(Eph 4:30 KJV) And grieve not the pure Spirit of Almighty, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

[We have the assurance that Yahweh knows His own, even if we do not know about ourselves. He has sealed us, given us the Comforter, given us these 4 witnesses plus many more. We are sealed if we have accepted Yahshua in our hearts! Is your heart set on pleasing Yahweh? Then why are you worried?]

(Rev 14:9-12 KJV) And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of Almighty, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the set-apart angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Yahweh, and the faith of Yahshua.

[You are already sealed and the proof is that you are keeping Yahweh's commandments, which includes those in the Old Testament, all that apply to you what ever your station or sex. I am speaking of those commands plainly spelled out. You are also exhibiting faith by following Yahshua's example. You should know your heart, and just to be sure check out the observations of others and listen with a will to see truth, Yahweh's not mans. Your intend may be to do right, but your actions may be seen in another light. Make sure they cannot be misconstrued by those whose example you are. Better to do less, very well, than to do much and give a wrong impression for we bear the names of our Creator Yahweh and our Sacrifice Yahshua!

My desire with this lesson is to ease the stress of fear from my brothers and sisters. It is never to late to change for the better! But someday, for some, we will no longer be able to change because our hearts will have been so hardened we no longer have choice! Yahweh gave us freedom of choice and the enemy seeks to harden us so we will no longer be able to discern between truth and lie. Do not fear – it shows a lack of trust in Yahweh's promises and the ability of Yahshua's sacrifice to pay for past repented sins.

As to what physical form the enemies mark will take I do not worry for I know Yahweh has sealed me and I will not be deceived to save my body from harm. The mark will be a deliberate action that makes you deny either or both Yahweh and/or Yahshua's place in your heart and life. In other words the breaking of a plain commandment. If your knowledge of Torah is lived in a loving, not condemning way, why would you not receive the rewards promised by the One who cannot lie? Many have already received the mark of the beast, for they serve him willingly, and proudly. Should we not be willing to do the same for Yahweh? To whom the heart belongs, obedience is given gladly.]
